My posts have been delayed due to a week of work in San Francisco. The week consisted of long, exhausting work days after which I was really only capable of grabbing dinner and sleeping as soon as I hit the bed. I am tired and sore and was not the happiest camper at all times, but I had some great company in my fellow coworkers. It’s so fun to get to know people you’ve been working with a little better.

I stole this picture from Nana. It’s from the evening we went touring through San Francisco via cable car. The operator insisted on being part of the group photo.

And the city of San Francisco was really nice to us — these ‘thank you’ cupcakes were so delicious in the middle of a long day.

Now that it’s over, I couldn’t be happier to get home. My flight was supposed to leave SFO at 11:55 p.m. and arrive back home at 7:45 a.m. (Saturday). But just like my posting to this blog, my flight is delayed. For what reason, I don’t know. But it is 12: 15 a.m. and we were just told that our aircraft is en route from LA and that we may be leaving between 2 and 2:30 a.m. So maybe I’ll get home soon.

First order of business when I get home is to take a nap. There are several crying children at this gate, so I’m not anticipating a very restful flight.

Second order of business — hug the furball. I sure do miss her.

Third — make cookie dough to be baked Sunday.

Fourth — wrap Christmas presents!

Fifth — Make a list and shop for gifts yet to be bought…

The internet here is painfully slow, so I guess I’ll wait out the rest of the delay the old-fashioned way — with a magazine and some oreos.
